Plots & vendors

Plots are the key function of Eventplot - it's in the name. Once you have created your site zone, added natural features like trees, paths and benches you can start adding plots. Plots are a 'home' for a vendor. Any type of vendor really. Plots can be large or small and can be rotated. They can only hold one vendor. Each plot can be allocated a plot number so that this can be shared with vendors and it can help with planning. Plot numbers are shown on the vendor card on the main Vendors view.

Adjust size

Plots can vary in size to match the different capabilities of your vendors. Whether it's a large gazebo on the plot or a small wooden chalet, you can adjust the plot to match. Plot width and height can vary from 1m to 50m in size.

Plot number

On large event sites, you may wish to allocate plot numbers to the different plots - and perhaps even 'zones' for different areas, e.g. "Main Field 1", or "Green 3". The plot number allows you to organise your vendors by their plot number and can also be easily shared with the vendor to aid with setup at the start of your event.

If you copy and paste plots, then the plot number automatically increments from the highest number currently in that 'category'.

Assigning a vendor to a plot

Once you have created a plot, you can assign a vendor to a plot. First of all, ensure that you have a vendor resource that needs assigning. This could be a vendor that has signed up using the vendor signup form (and you have approeved), or a vendor that you have created.

With the plot selected, choose a vendor from the drop down list. Vendors that haven't been allocated to a plot are shown at the top of the list.

If you choose a vendor that has already been allocated to a plot, they will be removed from their current plot. Vendors can only be allocated to one plot. If you have multiple vendors of the same 'type', e.g. a bar
