Credits and Event Licences

How Eventplot credits and Event Licences work — wallets, starter credits, upgrades, and buying packs. No subscriptions.

# Credits and Event Licences

Eventplot uses a pay-as-you-grow credit model. You buy credits when you need them and spend them on an Event Licence for each event — no subscriptions.

For pricing examples, see Pricing.

Credits in short

  • 1 credit licences 1 vendor, performer, stage, or sponsor slot.
  • Credits live in a wallet: your personal account, or an organisation’s shared wallet.
  • Credits are spent when you set or upgrade an Event Licence — not when the event day arrives, and not when you click Publish.
  • Maps, schedule, facilities, and website blocks are not charged per item.

Free starter credits

  • New personal accounts start with 25 free credits.
  • Early adopters (personal accounts created before 16 September 2026) received 100 free credits (worth £400 at £4 per credit), and existing events stay free at their current capacity.
  • Organisation wallets start at 0 — buy organisation credits for the team.

Event Licence

Every event has an Event Licence: how many vendors, performers, stages, and sponsors that event is licensed for.

  • The cost is the sum of those counts (1 slot = 1 credit).
  • A licence for 20 vendors, 10 performers, 3 stages, and 2 sponsors costs 35 credits.
  • Licences last 14 months from when the event (and licence) was created.
  • You can upgrade anytime and pay only the extra credits.
  • Deleting vendors or performers does not return credits — capacity stays on the licence until you change it.

When you create an event

After you add the name, location, and dates, Eventplot asks you to set the Event licence. Choose the counts you need, check Your balance, and confirm. If you need more credits, use Get more.

You can also open Event Licence from the event sidebar later to review or upgrade.

If you hit a limit

If you try to add more vendors, performers, stages, or sponsors than the licence allows, Eventplot asks you to upgrade the Event Licence (and buy credits if needed).

Buying credits

  • Personal: open your profile / account menu and use Get more credits.
  • Organisation: open Organisation Settings and use Get more credits (admins and owners).
  • Organisation credits are shared by the team for that organisation’s events.

Large Event Licences (200+ credits) may suit an Unlimited / Enterprise arrangement — use Contact us about Unlimited credits in the purchase dialog, or see Pricing.

Moving events between wallets

If you move an event between Personal and an Organisation (or between organisations), the destination wallet must cover the Event Licence. Eventplot confirms before the move. Credits already spent on that licence are not “returned” as a refund — see the confirmation text in Event Settings.
