In the news: Swallow Events opens vendor trading software to festivals
Festival Insights (March 2026) on a UK trader procurement platform — auctions, tenders, contracts. How it sits next to site planning.

Swallow Events has opened its trader operating system to third-party organisers: fixed-price, auction and tender flows for catering and trade stands, plus contracts, compliance docs and payment scheduling. Festival Insights positions it as ops infrastructure for festivals — not another pure ticketing play.
Why outdoor organisers care (Eventplot angle): booking traders is half the job. On a field or park you still need pitches, stages, paths and a public map that match the line-up. Eventplot is the planning map + vendor/performer workspace once (or while) traders are secured — complementary to procurement tools, not a replacement.
